The itinerary

Day 01

Saqqara, Memphis, Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx

• Meet your tour guide early in the morning at the hotel and begin your tour at the Giza Pyramids.
• See the ancient burial grounds of Sakkara, where you will also visit the complex of King Zoser - the world's oldest major stone structure.
• Drive to your second stop, Memphis, founded by King Menes and the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom.
• See the great Colossi of King Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.
• Drive north for around 30 minutes and arrive in the Giza area.
• View the great Giza Pyramids.
• Drive through the pyramids to a panoramic viewpoint, where you can take the best pictures.
• Take an optional camel ride here.
• See the Queen's pyramids and continue with a drive to the Valley Temple site to see the Great Sphinx.
• Transfer to the hotel at the end of the tour.
