Escorted in an air-conditioned vehicle to visit one of the most Stunning constructions in Cairo - The Citadel of Saladin Al Ayouby. It was built in the 12th century to fortify Cairo against the Crusaders. The citadel was used as the seat of the king and his government for many centuries and many dynasties too. The Ayyubids, the Mamluks, and even some Ottomans ruled over Egypt from the Citadel.
Head to The Great Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha stands proudly on the highest point inside the courtyard of the Citadel of Saladin. It’s one the landmarks in Cairo with its huge space, the beautiful decorations on its walls, and its remarkable domes and minarets.
Proceed to visit one of the marvelous Coptic buildings in Cairo, such as The Monastery of St. Simon the Tanner or The Cave Church which is located in El Mokattam hills area near the Zabbaleen slum or Garbage City - Cairo's largest informal garbage collectors settlement, where garbage recycling is central to its population's economy.
Arrive at The Monastery of St. Simon the Tanner, it has an amphitheater with a seating capacity of 20,000. This church is the largest church in the Middle East. It is named after the Coptic Saint, Simon the Tanner, who lived at the end of the 10th century and is associated with the legend of the moving of the Mokattam Mountain.
Head to The Monastery of St. Simon the Tanner which includes the St. Bola's Church, St. Marks Church, and St. Simon the Tanner's Hall.
Take a break at El Azahar Park which is located on a hilly site surrounded by the most significant historic districts of Islamic Cairo. It’s considered as one of the world’s great public spaces.
Wander around the vast green area while seeing the great Islamic monuments of Cairo. There are also great restaurants there, if you want to have a meal in front of this great view.
