Itinerary

1. Day 1: Giza train station - Overnight train to Luxor

   • Our expert representative will pick you up from your hotel around 7 pm (depending on your hotel location), from where we will drive to the Cairo train station. 

   Overnight train to Aswan (train tickets are included)

2. Day 2: Arrival Transfer to Nile Cruise & Luxor East Bank

   • Our licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Luxor Airport/Railway station or hotel. Transfer by A/C van to your 5-star Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. 
   • Have lunch on board. 
   • Then, start your tour by visiting the most significant temple ever. Karnak Temple was built over 2000 years, covering an area of about 63 acres. 
   • Then, we visit the famous temple of Luxor, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. 
   • Admire its obelisk and statues.
   • Back to the cruise and have dinner on board.

3. Day 3: Luxor West Bank

   • After breakfast, we will start the visit to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the new kingdom hewn their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.
   • Then to the Mortuary Temple of the famous Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. 
   • End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. 
   • Return to the cruise by noon to have your lunch. 
   • Start sailing down the River Nile to cross Esna Lock.

4. Day 4: Edfu temple, Kom Ombo temple, Enjoy Sailing

   • Have breakfast on board then our tour guide will pick you up once the cruise lands.
   • Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. 
   • After you finish your tour, we will transfer you back to the cruise and sail to Kom Ombo. 
   • Have lunch on board. 
   • Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo shared by the Two Gods Sobek & Haroeies in Kom Ombo.

5. Day 5: Abu Simbel Temples from Aswan

   • Around 4:30, your guide will pick you up for the Abu Simbel trip (sharing a small group) to visit one of the most unique places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simble with their unique design built for King Ramses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. 
   • Back to the Cruise by noon to have your lunch and enjoy a free afternoon.
     
     

6. Day 6: Aswan Tour (Philae Temple, High Dam) & Departure Transfer

   • Check out after breakfast. 
   • Discover the highlights of Aswan with your guide and listen to the story of Nubian immigration. 
   • Start your tour by visiting the High Dam, achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electricity.
   • Proceed to visit the Philae Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. 
   • Later on, you will be transferred to your Aswan Railway station.

7. Day 7: Giza train station

   • Our expert representative will pick you up from Cairo Train Station to your hotel upon arrival in Cairo.
