Itinerary

- Meet the tour guide in Cairo (at 6:00 A.M.), and take a four-hour drive to reach El Minya.
- Take a motorboat ride to Tal Al Amarna that represents the remains of the capital city newly established and built by the Pharaoh Akhenaten of the late 18th Dynasty, and abandoned shortly after his death
- Visit Beni Hassan to see many tombs from the Old and the Middle Kingdom.

Your meals on Eyaru will also have the Egyptian spirit in them. During your stay, all your meals will be real authentic Egyptian dishes. While visiting the local markets, you can even buy some fresh ingredients for your dinner that evening or buy some fish and fire up the grill on the patio! You will fully experience the Egyptian experience. It is also possible to attend live cooking sessions from your dinner and learn local recipes that you can try on your return home.

Eyaru can be enjoyed all year round because of Eyaru's main feature, his pergola. The pergola closes on part of the glass terrace. So, there is no need to stay indoors during the cold months and miss the picturesque landscapes of the Nile during your stay. That’s why Eyaru is the only Dahabiya that sails from Luxor to Aswan and vice versa.
