Islamic Cairo Tour
- After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel to start the journey towards the mosque of Sultan Hassan (1360) which represents the Mamluk style of architecture with its mausoleum and madrassa (religious school ).
- Then, you will visit the Rifa'i mosque, built between 1869 and 1912, it represents the Ottoman style of architecture. This mosque is the resting place for many members of the Egyptian Royal Family and the beautiful mausoleum of the last Shah of Iran.
- Next, you will move to the oldest mosque still intact in Egypt, the mosque of Ahmed Ibn Tulun, completed in 879. With its unique minaret that has an external staircase and its beautiful decorations. Then lunchtime at a local restaurant in Cairo.
- After lunch, you will be guided to explore the Old Cairo streets. Your guide will then indulge you in the beauty of the city and into a whirlwind of anecdotes, history, legends and intrigue, enjoyed the wonderful walking tour of Al Moez Street.
- At the end of the tour, you will transfer back to your hotel.
