Day 1: Luxor sightseeing
Arrive at Luxor early in the morning.
Visit the main highlights by East Bank monuments:
Luxor Temple, a large Ancient Egyptian temple.
Karnak Temple, a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings.
Institute perfumes.
Explore the main highlights by West Bank monuments:
The Colossi of Memnon, two great seated stone statues representing King Amenhotep III.
Alabaster Factory, a lovely souvenir shop.
Valley of the Kings, a site of 63 tombs built between the 11th and 16th centuries.
Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari), a mortuary temple of Ancient Egypt.
Go sailing from Luxor.

Day 2: Edfu sightseeing
Explore the Temple of falcon-headed Horus at Edfu.
Visit the Temple of the Crocodile God Sobek at Kom Ombo.
Arrive in Aswan on the same night.

Day 3: Aswan sightseeing
- Visit Philae Temple, set on a holy island in the Nile River.
- Proceed to Aswan High Dam, the world's largest embankment dam.
- Go on a Felucca ride, a traditional wooden sailing boat used in the eastern Mediterranean.
- Continue to Papyrus Museum and learn how thick paper used in ancient times was made.
