Giza Pyramids, Great Sphinx, and Coptic Cairo
- In the morning, after breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, our professional tour guide will pick you up from the lobby in a modern private air-conditioned car to begin your visit to some of the most attractive pharaonic sights at the Giza Necropolis. Here, you will find a large number of pyramids and tombs dating back to the 4th Dynasty of the Old Kingdom. The most famous attractions are the pyramids of Cheops, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Chefren, and Mecyrinos, as well as the Valley Temple of King Chefren. You will also see the Great Sphinx, with the body of a lion and the head of a human, which according to Pharaonic beliefs guards this great necropolis.
- Then, head to the Hanging Church, one of the oldest and most famous Coptic churches in Cairo. Enjoy its unique architecture and beautiful Coptic art.
- Explore the Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the oldest synagogues in Cairo, and learn about its unique history and cultural significance.
