Explore Cairo and Giza from Hurghada
- Start the tour early in the morning, at around 2 AM. The guide will pick you up from the hotel. It is helpful to pre-order breakfast boxes at reception and pick them up before departure.
- Drive to Cairo from Hurghada, which will rake approximately 5 hours (from Makadi, it'll take an hour more). With a short break, you will reach Cairo at around 8 AM.
- Visit the Giza Plateau and take pictures.
- Head to the Giza Pyramids. Egypt has dozens of pyramids discovered. However, you will visit the most famous ones: Khufu (the only standing Ancient World Wonder from Seven Ancient World Wonders), Khefre and Mykerinos.
Optionally pay 10 Euros extra to tour the inside of a Pyramid.
- Check out the solar boat of Khufu, standing right next to the monuments, which was built to help Khufu to sail on the River of Death to reach the afterlife.
- Go to the Museum after lunch. Egyptian Museum boasts a great collection of around 120,000 artifacts from all the historical times of the country. The most famous and precious is the collection of Tutankhamun's treasure. Don't miss the chance to see his golden sarcophagus with your own eyes! The Museum itself also holds two unique Mummy rooms. You can walk for hours and hours inside the Museum and still find new and fascinating things! As in all trips, the local licensed guide will explain everything to you and give you tips on places worth visiting if you plan to spend longer at Giza.
Drive to Hurghada and reach around 10 PM, thus concluding your tour.
