Begin from Karnak temple, known for its magnificent Hypostyle Hall of 134 columns. It comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings near Luxor. Construction at the complex began during the reign of Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom (around 2000–1700 BC) and continued into the Ptolemaic period (305–30 BC).
Head towards the line of ram-headed Sphinx and visit the sacred lake near.
Visit the Luxor temple of Amenophis the 3rd and admire its Papyrus headed columns and imposing colonnade.
