Day 1: Welcome to Bogotá – The Heart of Colombia
- Welcome to Bogotá, Colombia’s vibrant capital! Perched high in the Andes, this city blends rich history, culture, and modern charm.
- Wander through La Candelaria’s colonial streets, visit world-class museums, and take in breathtaking views from Monserrate.
- Savor local flavors like ajiaco and explore lively districts like Chapinero and Usaquén. Whether you're into history, food, or adventure, Bogotá promises an unforgettable experience!

Day 2: The Legend of El Dorado – Guatavita’s Sacred Waters
- We head north from Bogotá to the stunning Guatavita Lagoon, over 3,000 meters above sea level.
- A short hike through high-Andean forest takes us to the lagoon’s edge, where we’ll explore the famous Legend of "El Dorado" and the Muisca people’s sacred ceremonies.
- After learning about the history and treasure hunts tied to this site, we return to Bogotá or visit the charming village of Guatavita.

Day 3: Wildlife & Wonders – Bioparque La Reserva’s Hidden Treasures
- Discover Colombia’s incredible biodiversity on a guided tour that brings you up close to wildlife rescued from illegal trafficking.
- Organized by a non-profit foundation, this experience supports conservation efforts, environmental education, and vital research to protect the country’s rich ecosystems.

Day 4: Into the Amazon – Leticia & the Enchanted Tarapoto Lakes
- Arriving in Leticia, we head to the port and take a motorboat to a floating house on the Amazon River for lunch.
- After visiting the Victoria Regia Nature Reserve to see the giant Amazonian lotus, we cruise to Puerto Nariño for an overnight stay.
- At dusk, we explore the Loretoyacu River and Tarapoto lakes, spotting pink and grey dolphins, birds, and a beautiful sunset.

Day 5: Jungle Secrets – Pink Dolphins & Indigenous Wisdom
- After breakfast, we take a traditional boat to San Martin, a Tikuna community on the Amacayacu River, passing through the Loretoyacu, Amazonas, and Amacayacu rivers.
- There, we explore the garden, pharmacy, and Maloca of the Moruapow group.
- We then continue to Mocagua for a traditional meal with an Indigenous family and visit the Maikuchiga Foundation, dedicated to primate conservation, especially the Brown Woolly Monkey.

Day 6: Back to Bogotá – A Free Afternoon in the Capital
- After breakfast, we take a motorboat to Leticia and transfer to the airport for our flight to Bogotá (included).
- Please note that some activities may be affected by water levels, especially from August to early November.
- Activities may also change based on weather conditions. Waira Selva offers Wi-Fi but no air conditioning, pool, hot water, or fan.

- As your journey comes to an end, we’ll ensure a smooth and timely transfer to the airport.
- Enjoy the final sights of Bogota as you head to your departure flight. Please be ready before your scheduled pickup time.
