1. Day 1: Arrival in Medellín – First Encounter with the City of Eternal Spring

   • Upon landing in Medellín, you’ll be greeted by the pleasant spring-like climate that has earned the city its famous nickname. This first day is designed for you to settle into the city at your own pace. 
   • You can start by exploring the modern and lively El Poblado neighborhood, filled with cozy cafés, restaurants serving delicious local cuisine, and interesting boutiques. 
   • If you prefer something more cultural, a stroll through the Botanical Garden or Barefoot Park (Parque de los Pies Descalzos) offers a great introduction to the public spaces that have helped transform the city. 
   • In the evening, we recommend experiencing the nightlife in Provenza, where bars and restaurants showcase the warmth and joy of the paisas (locals). 
   • Rest well, because the coming days will be packed with unforgettable experiences.

2. Day 2: Comuna 13 Tour – History, Art, and the Reinvention of a City

   • Today, you’ll dive deep into the history of Medellín a city that has gone from being synonymous with violence to becoming a global model of urban and social transformation. 
   • You’ll start by using the innovative public transportation system, including the metro and metrocable, which are not just means of mobility but also symbols of inclusion and progress. 
   • Once in the city center, you’ll walk through its bustling streets, where history blends with the energy of local commerce.
   • The highlight will be your visit to Comuna 13, a neighborhood that has transformed from one of the most dangerous areas into an example of resilience and creativity. 
   • Here, outdoor escalators and vibrant graffiti murals tell stories of struggle and hope. A local guide will share powerful testimonies about how residents have lived through this transformation. 
   • You’ll also enjoy urban art performances, music, and dance that reflect the community’s vibrant spirit. This tour won’t just show you the city’s physical changes it will also introduce you to the heart of its people.

3. Day 3: Silletera Farm – Flowers, Tradition, and the Rural Magic of Santa Elena

   • Today, you’ll leave the urban bustle behind and venture into the mountainous landscapes of Santa Elena, a small town just an hour from Medellín. This is the soul of the famous Flower Festival, known for its stunning silletas (traditional flower arrangements). 
   • You’ll visit a silletero farm, where a local farmer will proudly welcome you and share the secrets of this centuries-old tradition. 
   • You’ll learn how flowers are cultivated, the meaning behind each design, and the effort that goes into creating the majestic silletas paraded through Medellín’s streets.
   • You’ll also walk along nature trails, taking in breathtaking panoramic views of the Aburrá Valley. The experience includes a typical snack made with local ingredients while you listen to stories about rural life and the importance of preserving these traditions. This day is an authentic connection with paisa culture and a chance to appreciate the simple yet profound beauty of the Antioquian countryside.

4. Day 4: Salsa Class – Immerse Yourself in the Rhythm and Joy of Colombia

   • There’s no better way to understand the Colombian spirit than through its music and dance. 
   • Today, you’ll take a private salsa class one of the country’s most iconic rhythms in a fun and relaxed setting. 
   • An expert instructor will guide you step by step, from basic moves to more advanced combinations, tailored to your skill level.
   • As you learn to move to the rhythm of salsa, you’ll also discover the history of this musical genre, its influence on Colombian culture, and how it has become an expression of identity and celebration. 
   • The class includes live or recorded music, and at the end, you’ll get to practice what you’ve learned in a mini dance session. It’s an experience full of energy, laughter, and, above all, passion.

5. Day 5: Departure from Medellín – Farewell with a Heart Full of Memories

   • After four days exploring Medellín’s contrasts—from its art-transformed neighborhoods to its tradition-filled mountains, and after dancing to its vibrant rhythms—it’s time to say goodbye. But it won’t be a final farewell, because Medellín has a way of making visitors dream of returning.
   • Before leaving, you can pick up last-minute souvenirs at San Alejo Market or enjoy one last Colombian coffee at one of the city’s charming cafés. 
   • With your luggage full of keepsakes and your heart full of unforgettable experiences, you’ll board your flight knowing you’re taking a piece of Medellín’s warmth and energy with you.
