Day 1: Arrival and River Exploration
- Travel the night before to El Puente Cuyabeno, the entrance to the Cuyabeno Reserve.
Meet at the reserve entrance at 11:30 AM.
Begin a 3-hour canoe trip down the river, exploring and spotting monkeys, birds, and other wildlife.
Have lunch at the lodge and relax.
Explore the river and lagoons in the afternoon, continue wildlife spotting, swim, and enjoy the sunset.
Embark on a night canoe expedition to search for caimans.
Dine at the lodge.
Attend an evening lecture by the naturalist guide about Amazon culture, communities, flora, fauna, and conservation.

Day 2: Jungle Hiking and Nature Exploration
- Have breakfast at the lodge.
Take a 3-hour guided hike through the primary forest. Learn about medicinal plants, frogs, insects, birds, and other wildlife.
Return to camp for lunch and rest for two hours.
Prepare and taste coffee and chocolate in a traditional Amazonian way.
Explore streams by traditional rowing canoe before dark. Enjoy the sunset by the river. Try to spot pink dolphins if conditions allow.
Return to the lodge and prepare for a night walk.
Dine at the lodge.
Sample traditional Amazonian drinks and enjoy cultural exchange.

Day 3: Community Visit and Cultural Experience
- Have breakfast at the lodge.
Visit a local indigenous community guided by a native woman. Learn about the culture, clothing, language, and gastronomy.
Participate in preparing lunch with the community members.
Meet the community shaman who will explain medicinal plants and perform rituals of the Amazon.
Return to the lodge in the afternoon.
Attend evening lectures after dinner to deepen knowledge about the rainforest.

Day 4: Morning Wildlife Exploration and Departure
- Wake early for a river excursion to enjoy the sunrise and search for birds.
Return to camp for breakfast and organize luggage.
Take a 2-hour canoe trip back along the Cuyabeno River, continuing to search for wildlife.
Arrive at the reserve entrance around 11:00 AM.
Depart from Cuyabeno to return to Quito or your next destination.
