Born in Liberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica in 1976, I started learning English at a young age in high [sensitive content]aduated from University of Costa Rica in 1998, with a Bachelor Degree in Ecological Tourism, I worked first as local guide at an eco-hotel, guiding different activities like Ziplines (canopy), Horseback riding, natural walks through the forest, then, I work as tour guide for a tour company during seven years, were I learn a lot of the tourism industry.After that I decided to work as a freelance tour director (5 years) for many companies.Enjoying traveling, nature conservancy, history and culture; I had opportunity to grow up in a farming area in Costa Rica, surrounded by animals and forest, I decided to value my living experiences as my work and changed my life.After finishing the four years ecotourism career I got major from my university and then I got my professional tourist guide license and have been working as a tour guide-director since then.I am also a specialized naturalist tour guide certified by Costa Rica Ministry of Tourism.License # 873I been working for different tourism branches such as:**Tour director for ecological trips for all Costa Rica, 12 and 15 days, for guest coming with organized group from Smithsonian Journeys, University of Washington, University of Ohio, University of Michigan, etc.**Program Coordinator (PC) for different meeting and incentives groups such as Covidien, Antony Robin, Manulife insurance, Toyota, john Deere,**Airport supervisor for meeting and incentives groups.**Tour guide for private groups doing activities like eco-trips, zipline, horseback riding, atvs, fishing trips,**Private guide for Bird watching groups for all Costa Rica.
