Salt Cathedral Tour to Zipaquirá

  • Meet your guide at 8:00 am in Candelaria at Calle 16 #4-3, in front of Juan Valdez Coffee, or at 9:00 am in Parque de la 93 at Carrera 11A #93A-10, in front of Juan Valdez Coffee.
  • Travel through the savannah of Bogotá towards the municipality of Zipaquirá.
  • Walk 180 meters underground and feel like a miner as you discover each corner and corridor of this salt mine.
  • Enter this construction made entirely of salt. The mine holds thousands of years of cultural and historical exploration, from pre-Colombian, Colonial, and Republican times to the present day, and features beautiful sculptures carved by miners and sculptors.
