Santa Marta Heritage and Taganga Discovery

  • Meet your tour guide and visit:
    • The Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, where the Liberator Simón Bolívar died on December 17, 1830, which is why it is one of the most visited places.
    • Taganga, a typical fishing village, ideal for resting and snorkelling because of its beautiful and quiet bay and, besides being the starting point for visiting the neighbouring almost virgin beaches.
    • The Historic Centre of Santa Marta, currently a great tourist attraction in the city that hides a wealth of history. It was declared a National Monument in 1963. The colonial-style Cathedral was one of the first in Latin America, and its construction began in 1765.
    • The Gold Museum, where you will be able to appreciate the exhibition of the Anthropological and Ethnological Museum of Tayrona Culture, its beliefs, mythologies, crafts, and more, to learn about and explore the legacy of the millenary Tayrona culture.
