• Your guide shall be waiting for you at the Bangkok airport. After a warm greeting and brief of the tour, you shall be transferred to your hotel and have the remainder of the day free to see the city.

• After breakfast, you will visit the Wat Traimit on the edge of China town which houses the world’s largest solid gold Buddha.
• Continue to Wat Pho, the home to the magnificent reclining Buddha. 
• Visit the royal Grand Palace and marvel at the mysterious Emerald Buddha at Wat Prah Kaew. 
• Lunch is served at a local restaurant.  
• In the afternoon, your guided tour starts with a cruise along the Chao Phraya with a labyrinthine network of small canals. You will enjoy a relaxing cruise bringing you far from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The day ends at the beautiful riverside Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn.

• After breakfast, you will be escorted north to Ayutthaya, where the temples and ruins of this great city have now been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. On the way, you will stop to visit Bang Pa-In, where you will see the summer palace with contrasting buildings and surrounding temples.
• You will also visit Wat Niwet Thammaprawat, the gothic-inspired temple on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. 
• After lunch at a local restaurant, you will continue to the most important of the ruined temples in the historical park: Wat Yai Chaimongkhol and Wat Mahathat. Then you will be escorted to Bangkok airport and take a flight to Chiang Rai. Your local guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your Chiang Rai hotel.

• After breakfast, you will be transferred to Doi Mae Salong. En-route, enjoy the sights of the Mae Salong town moving past tea plantations. You may also notice a subtle change in architecture and enjoy the upward curb of the roof awnings and the sprinkling of red Chinese lanterns. 
• Proceed to Mae Sai to visit the market on the Thai-Burmese border. 
• After lunch, you will be driven to the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet. You will also visit the magnificent ancient ruins and temples of Chiang Saen on the steep banks of the Mekong River. After the visit, you will be escorted to your hotel in the late afternoon.

• In the morning, you will visit the main market area to get a feel for local life in Chiang Rai. Then you will proceed to Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple. The impressive structures and artistic designs will leave you with a memorable experience. 
• Next, you will be escorted to Chiang Mai by a private vehicle. En-route, you will stop at Mae Kajan hot spring and Wat Phra Singh, the temple of the Lion Buddha. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you will check-in at your hotel and then be at leisure to relax at the hotel or explore the city.

• Drive to Doi Suthep Mountain. Climbing up the staircase of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep to reach the top, you will wander around the towering gilded stupa; take a moment to enjoy the views of Chiang Mai in the distance.
• Descend and continue along the spiritual trail to Wat Jed Yod. Get close to the seven spires to see the incredible carvings of celestial beings. 
• Visit Wat Suan Dok to discover its unique Buddha relic. 
• Return to Chiang Mai to visit Sankampaeng outlets of Thai silk and cotton looms.

• You will have a free morning. In the afternoon, your driver will take you to the airport for the flight to Bangkok. Your Bangkok driver will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, you will be escorted to the pier on the Chao Phraya River and board the ship Grand Pearl to admire the beautiful night-lit scenery on both sides of the Chao Phraya River. You will also enjoy a superb Asian dinner while the cruise slowly drifts along the river for up to two hours.
