Itinerary

1. Day 1: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Avatar Mountains

   • Meet your guide and driver in the morning at your hotel, airport, or railway station.
   • Enter Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and take the Bailong Elevator to Yuanjiajie.
   • Explore Yuanjiajie, known as the inspiration for Hallelujah Mountain from the film Avatar.
   • Visit South Sky Pillar and admire the dramatic sandstone formations.
   • Walk to the Enchanting Platform for panoramic views across the national park.
   • Continue to Tianzi Mountain and enjoy sweeping views of peaks and valleys.
   • Visit scenic areas including Helong Park and the West Sea.
   • Descend Tianzi Mountain by cable car and return to your hotel.

2. Day 2: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge and Yellow Dragon Cave

   • Travel to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon in the morning.
   • Walk across the famous Glass Bridge suspended high above the canyon floor.
   • Descend into the canyon and explore its striking natural scenery.
   • Visit attractions such as Bandit Cave, One Line Sky, Rotten Ship Rock, Butterfly Spring Waterfall, and Tianhe River Sightseeing Deck.
   • Enjoy optional activities such as zip line, sliding road, or virtual reality experiences.
   • Continue to Yellow Dragon Cave and explore its vast chambers and underground rivers.
   • Admire unique karst formations, waterfalls, and stone pillars inside the cave.
   • Return to your hotel after a full day of sightseeing.

3. Day 3: Tianmen Mountain and Fenghuang Ancient Town

   • Enjoy a relaxed morning before checking out of your hotel.
   • Travel to Tianmen Mountain and ride the cable car to the summit.
   • Walk along the cliffside plank road and admire misty mountain scenery.
   • Visit Tianmen Cave, also known as Heaven Door.
   • Experience highlights including the Glass Skywalk and the Ninety Nine Bends Road.
   • Travel by private vehicle to Fenghuang Ancient Town, approximately three hours driving.
   • Take a boat ride on the Tuojiang River and enjoy the beautiful night lights of Fenghuang.

4. Day 4: Fenghuang Ancient Town and Departure

   • Spend the morning exploring Fenghuang Ancient Town, a secluded and tranquil riverside town surrounded by mountains.
   • Stroll through ancient streets, visit interesting shops and traditional homes, and discover charming hidden corners.
   • Admire delicate and distinctive ethnic handicrafts unique to this region.
   • Transfer to Fenghuang Railway Station or return to Zhangjiajie to catch your onward flight.
