Half-Day Mutianyu Great Wall Private Tour
- Get picked up by a Beijing guide, and driver from the hotel at about 8:30 am (or any feasible time). Drive for 1.5 hours to the Great Wall.
- Explore the Great Wall of China, a comprehensive structure considered to be one of the most remarkable feats of mankind, whose segments were built as early as 500 BCE. Archaeologists estimate that the wall once ran 6200 miles; today, it stands at 3750 miles.
- Visit the Mutianyu section, which is a bit more rugged and slightly less crowded than the more famous Badaling. Moreover, 96% of Mutianyu is covered with greenery, more than any other section of the great wall. This section of the wall holds a prominent place in Chinese military history.
