Pick up by the Beijing tour guide from your hotel at about 8:00 am (or any other time you want).
Head to the Beijing Zoo, which mainly exhibits wild and rare animals of China.
Trace the giant pandas, one of the most popular exhibits and other exhibits include the Sichuan, golden snub-nosed monkey, Manchurian tigers, yaks from Tibet, kangaroo from Australia, and zebras from Africa.
Explore the Beihai Park, an imperial garden built in the 10th century and is amongst the largest of Chinese gardens that contains numerous historically important structures, palaces and temples.
Proceed to visit Wangfujing street, one of Beijing's first major shopping streets.
Find a row of unusual food stalls there such as sheep's penis, offal soup, deep-fried crickets, centipedes & lizards are available to eat on a stick.
