About me

Hi, I am a Tasmanian-born guide now living in Lausanne, Switzerland.Having studied Adventure Tourism, I have extensive training in customer service, flora & fauna, geology, first aid and search and rescue operations I have worked in Tasmania for around 10 years as a lead expedition guide for extended wilderness trips of up to 14 days hiking in the mountains, sea kayaking and whitewater rafting on the Franklin river and hiking trips in the desert of central Australia out of Alice Springs.I have also worked as an instructor at Tafe teaching adults who want to become wilderness guides and an outdoor education instructor for private schools. In Switzerland, I have primarily worked as a whitewater rafting/kayak guide for 7 years.I am a very keen climber and mountaineer.I really enjoy looking after people showing them the area and what the region has to offer.
