Description

Begin a five-day journey across Bolivia’s dramatic Altiplano, starting in La Paz and travelling through Sajama National Park. Admire Sajama Volcano, visit hot springs and observe Andean wildlife and colonial churches. Walk across the vast Uyuni Salt Flats, visit Isla Incahuasi and witness colourful high-altitude lagoons with flamingos. Continue through the Eduardo Abaroa Reserve, Dali Valley and Laguna Verde before crossing into Chile at Hito Cajón and arriving in San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 1 Early departure from La Paz to Sajama National Park. Four  hours Along the Altiplano i

Day 2  Old Colonial Churches and paintings-
• Beautiful scenery, where reigns the vicuna, the presence of Andean birds such as ducks, geese and hopefully Andean flamingos. Hopefully you look at the Andean ostrich.

Day  3 Full day Uyuni Salt Flats

Discover the Uyuni Salt Flats  ,  Colchani Salt Mine in the surreal salt desert before travelling into  Isla Incahuasi with many cacti growing on the island  /Lunch/Dinner. HTL Magia de San Juan 2 DWB. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Day 4 Lagoons and Flamingoes

Continue across the Altiplano to AlotaColourful lakes with flamingoes. Hotel Tayka del desierto. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Day 5  Red lagoon-/ Hito Cajón. Private Transfer to San Pedro Atacama.

Visit the Eduardo Abaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve. Then continue through the “Dali´s Valley ”, up to Laguna Verde, until the border of Hito Cajon. before crossing the border into Chile to San Pedro de Atacama by private car. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
