- Meet your guide in the city center of Veliko Tarnovo.
- Walk through the historic Varusha district.
- Visit the Church of St. Cyril and Methodius (subject to opening hours and availability).
- Visit the Church of St. Nicholas.
- Explore the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.
- Enjoy panoramic views over the Yantra River and the old town.
- Stop at the square below Tsarevets Fortress for an introduction to medieval Tarnovo.
- Photo stop overlooking Tsarevets, Trapezitsa and Sveta Gora Hill.
- Walk through the historic Asenov Quarter.
- Optional visit to the Church of St. Forty Martyrs.

Visits to the Church of St. Peter and Paul are subject to availability and can only be conducted with an on-site guide.

Photography may be restricted inside some churches.
