A lifelong history buff since many years; without focusing on any particular period or event.

Living in Bastogne for 30 years now, I've been guided on several occasions on
the battlefield, and around 2018, I realized that the guides were getting older too.I became aware that I, in turn, had to become a
guide to tell the story of these young men who allowed us to live in peace for so long.

I have been guiding officially and occasionally since 2022, but with retirement approaching (end of 2026), I plan to make myself more available for additional guiding.

I received formal training from the Bastogne War Museum and I was also trained by several well-known local guides in Bastogne.
