I served as a First Sergeant in the Belgian Army Airborne (1st Para Battalion), an elite unit where I gained firsthand insight into military operations, leadership, and discipline.This experience gives me a deep understanding of the history and human cost of war — a perspective I bring into every tour I guide.

After leaving active service, I pursued formal education in tourism and guiding.I completed a 3.5-year certification as a Battlefield Tour Guide (WWI & WWII) through Syntra West, followed by a 2-year training as a Certified European Tour Guide.These qualifications allow me to lead both military history tours and broader cultural experiences across Belgium and Europe.

I am an official and permitted guide at several major historical sites, including:

Battle of the Bulge – Bastogne

Wellington Museum – Waterloo

The City of Bruges (for walking tours)
