Continue to Scit to discover a historic Franciscan monastery and museum, then head to Mostar to explore its UNESCO-listed old town and the iconic Stari Most. Wander through the preserved Ottoman town of Pocitelj, admire the cascading Kravica waterfalls, and visit the renowned pilgrimage site of Medjugorje. Experience the spiritual setting of Blagaj Tekija at the Buna River spring and enjoy local wine tasting at Podrumi Andrija. Conclude the journey with a visit to Konjic and its historic stone bridge before returning to Sarajevo, taking in scenic landscapes and authentic regional experiences throughout the tour.

Itinerary

Day 1. Sarajevo – Travnik – Bugojno
- Depart Sarajevo and visit the Tunnel of Hope Museum to gain insight into the city’s survival during the 1990s siege.
- Travel to Travnik and explore its impressive 14th-century medieval fortress.
- Stroll along the scenic Lasva River and experience the charm of this historic town.
Continue to Bugojno for an overnight stay.
Day 2. Scit – Mostar
- Depart Bugojno and travel to Scit to visit the Franciscan monastery and its cultural museum.
- Continue south to Mostar and explore its UNESCO-listed historical center.
- Walk across the iconic Stari Most and discover the rich blend of Ottoman and Balkan heritage.
- Enjoy free time in the Old Bazaar before settling in for the night.
Stay overnight in Mostar.
Day 3. Pocitelj – Kravica – Medjugorje – Mostar
- Travel to Pocitelj and explore its preserved Ottoman-era hill town and stone architecture.
- Continue to Kravica Waterfalls and admire the natural amphitheater of cascading falls.
- Visit Medjugorje and explore one of the most significant Catholic pilgrimage destinations in the region.
- Return to Mostar for leisure time in the evening.
Stay overnight in Mostar.
Day 4. Blagaj – Podrumi Andrija – Konjic – Sarajevo
- Depart from Mostar and visit Blagaj Tekija, a 16th-century Dervish monastery at the Buna River spring.
- Enjoy a wine tasting experience at Podrumi Andrija and sample local Herzegovinian wines.
- Continue to Konjic and see the historic 17th-century Old Stone Bridge.
- Return to Sarajevo and conclude the journey.

We recommend considering a tour before or after the high season, when it is not as hot and not as crowded, yet all the sights and attractions are already open or still accessible. This is particularly important for elderly travelers, who need to be cautious about sun exposure and high temperatures.

Cut-off period: your booking will be accepted if it is made at least 7 days before the tour starts.

This is a private tour. Only your group will participate.

This tour accommodates a minimum of 1 person and a maximum of 6 people.

This tour is available for solo travelers as an exclusive solo tour (the tour will be for you only, without other travelers in the vehicle); the price for 1 person reflects this.

A single supplement is mandatory; solo travelers must pay extra to have their private room (except when the tour is booked for 1 person).

This tour (like our other tours) is available in English and Spanish.

As a private tour, this experience can be customized to fit your travel plans, personal interests, and schedule.

Breakfast is included during the tour only. As a rule, we will stay at each accommodation for only 1 night, so it makes no sense to pay for lunch and dinner there. Instead, let's enjoy the local cuisine.

Transportation is in a minivan with air conditioning and an English-speaking driver. Feel free to ask to stop whenever you need, whether for a nice photo opportunity or a coffee break.

Our prices include accommodations in 3-star hotels with breakfast, which are typically not near historical centers with pedestrian streets. If you prefer better accommodations in terms of location and quality, please let us know.
