I am a licensed driver and tour host based in Baku with 8 years of
professional experience guiding international travelers across Azerbaijan
and the wider Caucasus region.I hold an official passenger transport
license issued in Azerbaijan, and I operate a fully insured, well-maintained,
air-conditioned private vehicle suitable for both short city tours and
long-distance regional journeys.
I speak English and Russian fluently, with Azerbaijani as my native
language. My specialty is custom multi-day itineraries through Azerbaijan's
regions - Sheki and its UNESCO-listed Khan's Palace, the alpine forests,
waterfalls, and Tufandag cable car of Gabala, the 2,200-meter ancient
mountain village of Khinalug where families still speak a pre-Indo-European
language, the wine cellars of Ismayilli, the apple orchards of Quba,
the 40,000-year-old petroglyphs and mud volcanoes of Gobustan, and
the Caspian coast extending south to Lankaran.
What I believe makes me a strong guide is the combination of deep local
knowledge and genuine flexibility.I know the family-run tea houses by
mountain rivers, the best sunset viewpoints overlooking the Caucasus,
the artisan workshops that still produce hand-painted pottery in the
traditional way, and the village kitchens where guests can taste authentic
regional cuisine prepared from recipes passed down through generations.
Every itinerary is shaped around the interests and pace of my guests,
whether they are couples, solo travelers, families with children, or
small groups.
Beyond driving and guiding, I assist with the full trip experience:
trusted accommodation recommendations across all budgets, restaurant
bookings, translation in regions where English is not spoken, and
on-the-ground problem-solving whenever it is needed.Safety, punctuality,
and respect for guest preferences are central to how I work.
My goal is straightforward - for every guest to return home with genuine
stories and memories, not only photographs, having experienced the real
Azerbaijan beyond what guidebooks describe.I look forward to welcoming
you to my country.
