Eva Perón's Life in Buenos Aires

Meet your local tour guide at your preferred point and visit the different places in the city where Evita spent her adult life.

  • Start at the Casa Rosada, the seat of the Executive Power of the Argentine Republic. The office of the President of the Nation is inside this building. It is located in the Monserrat neighbourhood, in front of the historic Plaza de Mayo.

  • Continue to the Museum of the House of Government, which displays objects related to the country's presidents. This visit is from the outside only.

  • Head to Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral, an architectural masterpiece and the main Catholic church in the capital city. Visit the tombs of famous Argentine generals and admire its elaborate artwork.

  • Pass by the Parliament and 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest avenue in Argentina.

  • See Recoleta Cemetery, famous for its numerous and imposing mausoleums and vaults adorned with marble and sculptures.

  • Stop at Evita's tomb, located 200 meters from the main entrance gate of Recoleta Cemetery.

  • Conclude your tour with visits to Evita's Park and Evita's Museum. The museum offers a journey through the history of Eva Perón through photographs, videos, and documents from the period.
