The itinerary

Day 01

Perito Moreno Glacier Mini-Trek and Boat Crossing

Meet your tour guide at the meeting point and depart from El Calafate to Bajo la Sombra Port, where you will take a 20-minute boat ride across the Rico Branch of Lake Argentino.
Disembark on the lake's southwest coast and head to a mountain shelter, where the guides will divide the group into groups of 20 people to begin the walk toward the glacier. There, you will receive crampons from the guides.
Begin your hike on the glacier, which lasts approximately one and a half hours. Discover the splendid crevasses, water holes, and small lagoons along the way.
Take the boat ride back to the port while marvelling at close-up views of the glacier's ice walls.
