Know Before You Go

National Park regulations: All visitors must present a valid ID or passport at the entrance. Ticket prices and regulations are established by the park authorities and may change without prior notice.

Weather conditions: Iguazú is a subtropical rainforest. Expect high humidity, sudden rain showers, and intense sunlight. Trails may become wet or slippery.

Physical requirements: The Lower Trail includes steep staircases and requires a good level of mobility. The Upper Trail and Devil’s Throat boardwalk are easier but still involve extended walking.

Wildlife: The park is home to coatis and monkeys. Do not feed or touch them; they may bite or steal food.

Clothing: Light, breathable clothing is recommended. Bring a change of clothes if you want to stay dry after the spray from the waterfalls.

Food: There are restaurants and snack bars inside the park, but the options may be crowded during peak hours.

Timing: Early arrival is recommended to avoid crowds and enjoy the trails with greater tranquility.
