  • Day 1: Yerevan - Geghard - Garni - Symphony of Stones - Yerevan expand_more
    • Start the morning in the Christian spirit and harmonize your body, soul and mind at Geghard monastery. The monastery is one of the greatest masterpieces of Armenian architecture and culture with its enormous might and power.

    • After the incredible flow of emotions, continue the route to Garni. You have surely heard about the period of history when people were worshipping different gods and goddesses, and that period was paganism. Armenians were pagan before adopting Christianity and the only pagan temple existing from that period even stands today in the village of Garni.

    • Take a jeep tour to Symphony of Stones. Words are so weak to describe the natural wonder, which is down-to-Earth but at the same time seems to be heavenly.

  • Day 2: Yerevan - Khor Virap - Etchmiadzin - Zvartnots - Yerevan expand_more
    • Travel to Khor Virap with your Armenian tour guide. This monastery faces biblical Mount Ararat. So, you can say that everything has started from here and then has moved to Echmiadzin.

    • Uncover the roots of Christianity in the spiritual city of Etchmiadzin. See the first monastery in the world and visit the museum where many valuable and essential pieces of art are kept, such as the Holy Lance (Geghard), which pierced the side of Christ and the relics of Noah's Ark in a shrine.

    • Travel not far from Etchmiadzin to see another piece of artwork that stands in ruins but still looks beautiful with the surroundings- Zvartnots.

    • After an unforgettable day, return to the capital city Yerevan.

  • Day 3: Yerevan - Sevanavank - Dilijan - Haghartsin - Parz lake -Yerevan expand_more
    • Head to the greenest area in Armenia, but first, savour the incredible treasure of Armenia, Lake Sevan. The Sevan is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world. On the peninsula stretching into the lake, see the mighty monastic complex Sevanavank.

    • Continue to Dilijan, the city with lavish vegetation and forests where your lungs will fill with super-fresh air.

    • Visit Haghartsin Monastery, not far from Dilijan. The magnificent gem is in the middle of lavish forests. The monastery has been a significant centre of education and culture since the 13th century.

    • Afterwards, head to Parz Lake, where several adventurous activities await.

  • Day 4: Yerevan - Amberd - Kari Lake - Yerevan expand_more
    • Start from Yerevan, and head to Amberd Fortress. The fortress dates back to the 7th century, and it represents the beautiful fortress construction of Armenia. Amberd means "a fortress in the clouds", and it truly is.

    • Not far from the fortress, find another monastery, Vahramashen, dating back to the 11th century. (And one particular remark: On the slopes of Mt Aragats, breathe in the unique fresh air.)

    • Drive to Mt Aragats and get to Kari Lake, which is 3,190 m above sea level and is translated from Armenian as 'Stone Lake'. Learn an amazing fact about the gravity in that area.

Note: You can hike to Kari Lake and Symphony of Stones if you want and are ready.
