Day 1- Arrive in Kathmandu expand_more
Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport. Meet your guide.
Drive to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy refreshment.

Day 2- Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour - Duration 4-5 hrs expand_more
Have breakfast and leave for Kathmandu Durbar Square (old Palace Courtyard). This place is full of religious monuments with residents of the famous Kumari Ghar (Living Goddess).
Visit Kal Bhairav Temple, Red monkey god, and ancient buildings of Malla rulers with magnificent architectures and intricate carvings from the 7th to 16th Century.
Take a lunch break.
Drive towards the east of the city to reach the Temple of Pashupatinath. This is a pagoda-style temple with gilded roofs and richly carved silver doors dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is situated on the bank of the Bagmati river.
Head towards Bouddhanath Stupa. This place stands as the largest Buddhist shrine within South East Asia. It was built in the 6th century A.D. by King Man Deb.

Day 3- Tour of Patan and Bhaktapur expand_more
Head to the southern end of Kathmandu at Patan/Lalitpur district.
Reach the center of Patan- Lalitpur. The city thrives on arts and crafts. Witness old Malla period's fine architecture.
Explore Patan's four ancient stupas in each corner of the city, built by Emperor Asoka of India 2,600 years ago.
Reach Bhaktapur- a medieval city, after a 45-minute long drive. Visit this Malla period city retaining its old culture and traditional way of life. Bhaktapur means- city of devotees.
Visit a beautiful and interesting square with golden gates, the palace of 55 windows, a royal bath, and the famous historical Nytapola Temple.
Head back to your hotel in Kathmandu.

Historical information about some places you will visit in Kathmandu:
The Durbar Square is filled with the colours of life. You will find vendors selling vegetables, curios, flutes, and other products. Nearby are the great drums which were beaten to announce royal decrees.
Akash Bhairab Temple, also referred to as the Blue Bhairab, sometimes is a three-storeyed temple in the principal market called Indra Chowk. The divine image of the Akash Bhairab is displayed outside for a week-long period during the great festival of Indra Jatra. The celebration of Indra Jatra honours Indra- the King of Heaven and the God of Rain.
Temple of Kumari and the holy quadrangle with a Buddhist stupa at the center form the residential quarters of a Virgin living goddess called Kumari. The traditional building has profusely carved wooden balconies and window screens.
The Great Stupa of Swayambhunath is the wonder and glory that was Nepal. It is listed as a World Heritage Site. This temple is the nerve center of faithful worshipers of Lord Adi Buddha. The stupa is well composed of solid hemisphere terra – cotta with four-sided all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha, keeping an eternal watch on the Valley distinguishing between vice and virtue.
