Hi everybody,

I'm Mike, a national licensed tour guide from Kyoto.

I was a teacher at a private school for 30 years and after retiring from work, I became a tour guide.

This is the 9th year since the first guiding with my client from the UK.

With honeymoon couples, photographers, military officers, families, politicians, students,

I had various types of tours.

The most impressive tour was the one with a lady from the US five years ago.

Her sons and their families presented a wonderful gift, Kyoto Tour, on her 100th birthday.

She spent two full days with her family members.

In early April, she walked slowly but steadily under the falling cherry blossom blizzard.

They cordially took care of her, and she returned gratitude with a smile.

How fantastic a tour it was!

All the group members shared happiness with her.

The hand I shook with her at the end of the tour was so soft and warm, never to be forgotten.

Our encounter may be only one or two days, too short to remember, but sweet memories will never die like the good old days.
