My Journey to Israel
Born in Amsterdam, I first visited Israel as a teenager in 1987 - the last summer of the "hitchhiker's paradise" before the first Intifada.That trip sparked a lifelong connection.I returned dozens of times over the years: volunteering on kibbutzim, organizing a university study tour, working on creating flower farms in Gaza, and selling Israeli IT hardware in Europe.
In 2008, I made Israel my permanent home in Tel Aviv.

Becoming a Licensed Guide
After selling my internet company, I gave myself the best present ever: a rigorous two-year course to become a licensed tour guide.This meant lectures twice weekly and visiting over 500 sites throughout Israel - immersing myself in everything this land has to offer.

Creating Israel's #1 Experience
In 2019, I created a day tour from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.This tour, operated by over 20 professional guides, was ranked as Israel's #1 Experience by Travellers' Choice for 5 consecutive years.
