Abu Simbel Temples Tour
Pick up by the Egyptologist tour guide at around 4:00 am from your hotel in Aswan.
After a roughly three hour drive, arrive at Abu Simbel temples on the western bank of Lake Nasser.
Discover the vast rock relief figures of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari.
Appreciate the relics of Abu Simbel and observe the painted battle scenes and gigantic sculptures of Ramses that line the halls.
Head further inside to the Temple of Hathor and see the murals and pillars engraved with images of the goddess Hathor and Nefertari, Ramses II’s beloved wife.
Go to the nearby visitor centre that documents the temples’ relocation.
