Day 2 - Cairo Highlights Visit expand_more
- Visit the great pyramids, Cheops, Chephren and Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built.
See the Sphinx, which is a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren.
Continue to the Step Pyramid of Zoser, which is considered to be the oldest major stone structure worldwide.
Stop for a scrumptious lunch at a local restaurant.
Go to Memphis, which was once the first capital of Egypt and the centre of rule and culture for more than 3000 years, founded by King Menes.
See the outstanding statue of king Ramses the 2nd.

- Have a hearty breakfast meal.
- Enjoy a spiritual day tour to the splendid Islamic and Coptic sites in Cairo.
- See the Saladin Citadel where Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque is situated.
- Proceed to the popular Al Gawhara palace, built by Mamluks and Ottomans.
- Visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period and displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art, considered the most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world.
- Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
