Pick up from the hotel and visit the Pompey's Pillar, constructed in honour of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century.
Drive to Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs, the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock.
Have lunch at a local restaurant in Alexandria.
Proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria.
Head to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina inaugurated in 2002 near the site of the original Library of Alexandria.
Return to the hotel.
