I am a percussionist, music producer and cultural manager born in Cartagena, dedicated to the preservation, promotion and dissemination of traditional and Afro-Colombian musical cultural heritage in Colombia and abroad.

I have extensive knowledge of the cultural heritage of Cartagena and its surroundings, both material and immaterial inventory, I grew up in the historic center of the city in a family of a singer mother and a painter father, therefore culture and its expressions have been my daily life since that opened my eyes to this world.

I have a great passion for architecture and museology since they are fundamental testimonies of each culture and its moments, but my main passion is for Colombian and international ethnomulicology, which has been my work and research in the field for the last 22 years traveling through the 5 continents taking Colombian music as an ambassador of our identity and learning from each of the cultures and places where art has taken me with its wide generosity.
