• 0700 hrs: Get picked up from the hotel as dawn breaks. 

• Drive inland along the Mombasa/Nairobi Highway, a distance of 140km to enter Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma Gate. The gate allows for a brief stopover for refreshments and call of nature.

• Commence the day’s game viewing on entry, looking out for lion, buffalo, cheetah, elephant, baboons, gerenuk, a variety of antelopes, hundreds of species of birds and plenty of other plains game.

• Proceed to Voi Wildlife lodge or similar for lunch.

• In the afternoon, back to the park for game tracking with the Kenyan driver/guide. 

• Drive near the water holes where animals come to quench their thirst.

• Return to the lodge by sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

• Rise for an early morning game drive in the park.

• After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park with a game en-route while exiting the park. 

• Continue to Amboseli, right on the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.

• Check-in at Kibo Safari Camp for lunch.

• Do afternoon game tracking in this magnificent park, looking out for hippo, elephant, wildebeest, lion, zebra, gazelle, kudu, hartebeest, and the numerous species of birds.

Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.

• Wake up for an early morning game drive in the park. This is also the ideal time to view the eternal snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro (if the weather permits).

• Back to the camp for breakfast after which drive back to Mombasa, with lunch en-route.

• Arrive at your beach hotel in the late afternoon.
