3-Day Masai Mara Wildlife Safari from Nairobi with Big Five Game Drives

• After the safari briefing at our offices, depart at 8:00 am for Masai Mara and drive north, ascending the Great Rift Valley for breathtaking views and photography. The Rift Valley was formed millions of years ago and stretches some 5,000 miles from Jordan to Mozambique, making it the largest rift on Earth. Masai Mara is famous for its black-maned lions, yearly migration of wildebeests, and the Big Five.
• Descend the escarpment and drive to Narok town, where you will stop for an early hot lunch.
• Proceed to Masai Mara after lunch, arriving in good time at your camp.
• After checking into your camp, freshen up and then go for an introductory game-viewing drive.

Dinner and overnight.

• After breakfast, go for a full day of game-viewing drives across the rich savannah grassland and rolling hills with your Kenya tour guide. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game, black-maned lions, leopard, and cheetah, but it also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found here in the Mara.
• Picnic lunch will be served at the Hippo Pools.

Dinner and overnight stay at Enchoro Wildlife Camp or similar (B, L, D).

• Go for a pre-breakfast sunrise game-viewing drive to see leopard, cheetah, lions, and other cats hunting. This is the best time to spot the cat family making a kill for breakfast or lunch as the sun rises.
• Return to the camp for your full breakfast before departing with an en-route game-viewing drive as you leave the Mara region for Nairobi.
• Break for lunch at Narok or Mai Mahiu Maasai administration towns.
• After lunch, proceed to Nairobi, where you will arrive between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
