12-Day Egypt Nile Cruise Tour with Cairo Pyramids and Hurghada

• Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport, then escort you to your hotel in an exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle.
• At the hotel, the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to confirm the pick-up times for each tour.

Overnight in Cairo.

• After breakfast, you will be accompanied by your personal guide to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, as well as the Famous Sphinx and the Valley Temple facing the great statue.
• An additional visit to the Solar Boat in front of Cheops Pyramid is available with an extra ticket purchased on the spot.
• Lunch will be served at a good-quality restaurant, after which you will proceed to the Saqqara area to visit the Saqqara Complex and the first pyramid ever built, the Djoser Pyramid.
• You will then move on to Memphis, the capital of the Old Kingdom and its famous necropolis.

• After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Cairo and join your private guide for a visit to the Egyptian Museum.
• Lunch will be served during the tour at a local restaurant.
• Continue to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo's old bazaar.
• Later, you will be transferred to Giza railway station to board the sleeper train to Aswan.

Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.

• You will be met at Aswan station and then transferred to your hotel.
• You may explore the option, not included, of enjoying a tour to one of Egypt's top tourist attractions, Abu Simbel Temples, originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in approximately the 13th century BC as a lasting monument to himself and his Queen Nefertari.

NB: If you would like to do the Abu Simbel tour, you will do it on day 5, and the Aswan sightseeing tours will be on day 4.

• After breakfast at your hotel in Aswan, embark on your Nile River cruise and enjoy visits to the world-famous High Dam and the awesome Philae Temple, which is devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor.
• You will also see the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk.

• Sail to Kom Ombo, have breakfast on board, and visit Kom Ombo Temple, a temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haeroris.
• Continue sailing to Edfu, have lunch on board, and visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, the Horus Temple in Edfu.
• Enjoy afternoon tea while sailing to Esna.

• Sail to Luxor.
• After breakfast on board, visit the West Bank and take an excursion to the royal cemetery of 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings.
• Next, see the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut in approximately the 15th century BC at El-Deir El-Bahari, as well as the Colossi of Memnon.
• Enjoy afternoon tea during sailing.

• After breakfast on board, disembark from your Nile cruise.
• You will then be transferred to visit the Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple.
• In the afternoon, transfer to Hurghada on the Red Sea. The drive from Luxor to Hurghada is about 3 and a half hours.
