    • Meet your tour guide at the Hongqiao Railway station and begin your journey.
    • Make your way to the People's Square. Once a racecourse, the square is now the center of the city with a Town Hall, the Grand Theater and the Shanghai Museum. Visit the Urban Planning Exhibition (20 yuan per person) nearby to have a nice overview of modern Shanghai. 
    • Stop at the surrounding Old Town to taste Shanghai dumplings, one of the best dumplings in the world.

    • Reach Yu Yuan Garden and go for a leisurely stroll. 

    • Take the metro to Tian Zi Fang. It has a lot of art shops, small restaurants and terraces and is famous for its ambiance.
    • Make your way to the Bund, a historical site where old ships used to land and load their cargo. In Puxi nearby, you will find many old art-decor style buildings that made up the old skyline of Shanghai. You can look over on the other side of the Huangpu River to see the old city's modern cityscape.
    • Walk through Nanjing Pedestrian street, one of the busiest shopping streets in the world. 
    • Head back to the railway station at 5:30 PM.
