Description
This 8-hour walking tour will take you to see the salars, monjes and calderas of the Quepiaco wetland. Hike up a hill to reach the plains where streams are formed, acting as a meeting place for several Andean birds (Juarjual Duck, Coot, Flamingo, Andean Gull). Get lucky spotting exotic species whilst enjoying a picnic out on the caldera.

Hiking Tour

Visit Bofedal de Quepiaco.
Walk to Salar de Pujsa, a reserve spread over 740 square kilometres and rich in bird species for you to look out for. Enjoy a boxed lunch here.
Head to Caldera de la Pacana. Also see Monjes de la Pacana, which are rock formations that look similar to the Rapa Nui.
Visit Salar de Tara.
