Hurghada

Hurghada is located on the Red Sea coast, almost 550 km southeast of Cairo, 280 km from Luxor and 280 km from Marsa Alam. Hurghada transformed from a very small fishing village till the early 80s to one of a popular destination for scuba, watersports and beach lovers. Hurghada is one of the tourist attractions in Egypt Red Sea with about 386750 inhabitants.

Hurghada, likes Egypt, enjoys hot weather like most of the country and for most of the year. August is the best month because the average temperature is about 28°C and July is the hottest with an average of 30°C and January is the coldest month with about 16°C.

Hurghada International Airport

Located 5 km southwest of the oldest part of the city of Hurghada (Al Dahar). Since 2015, Hurghada International Airport has two terminals able to host up to 15 million visitors yearly. More than 35 airlines operating seasonable charters between Hurghada and the big cities in Western and Eastern Europe.

Egyptian Visa

Whenever you come to Egypt, you will need a visa. You can purchase the visa upon arrival at Hurghada Airport. The visa cost $25 at the bank but your passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the arrival date.
