This was my first time to visit Africa, Uganda in particular. At my arrival, I was warmly welcomed by one representative from Green World Safari Company who transferred me from Airport to Protea hotel where I spent my first night before starting off my safari. After an early cup of coffee the following day, we started off with our safari to the western part of Uganda. If we refer to Uganda as the pearl of Africa, then the western part of it is the mother of the pearl because of the mighty attractions it possess for example national parks that habit a variety of wild life, birds and primates, the physical land scape to mention but a few. We visited Ziwa rhino sanctuary located in Nakasongola for rhino tracking later had a lunch stopover in Masindi. It was after this that we entered into the park and checked in at Fort Murchison lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

The following day after having a worm breakfast, we couldn’t miss out for a morning game drive. It is located on the Northern bank where a tour guide helped us to spot very many Elephants, Bushbucks, Hartebeest, Cape buffalo, Giraffes, leopards. We returned for lunch at lodge and later in the afternoon proceeded for an exciting 2 hours boat trip on the placid Victoria Nile up stream to the base of the falls. This is different unique experience you can’t miss out while on your safari at Murchison falls. We saw more mammals like Hippos, reptiles like Crocodiles, water birds and other wildlife. On docking at the mid River Island, we took pictures of the fall before returning back to the lodge. It was a tiresome but an exciting day I had never experienced in life.

The following day which was the last day of the safari, we left out the park passing via the top of Murchison falls to discover how Nile water forces itself in a 7 m gap. This is also another experience that one couldn’t miss out while in Uganda. We returned to Kampala at leisure with lunch stop en route arriving Kampala in the evening and driving straight to Entebbe International Airport to catch our fight back home. I would recommend any other person interested in travelling to travel with Green World Safari Company because of the care the staff provided to us during the few days we spent in Uganda. Not only that, the company has knowledgeable and good English speaking driver guides.
