This is the Nile that is the longest River in the world traveling 6696km (4184 miles) from the source of the White Nile in Uganda to the Nile Delta in Egypt. Water runs out of lake Victoria on its journey to Mediterranean flowing very fast. The Niles majestic waters flow at an average volume of 300 million cubic meters per day passing through four countries (Uganda, South Sudan, Sudan and Egypt) in the course of a 3 month journey. This is the White Nile Tributary. The Blue Nile emerges from Lake Tana in Ethiopia and joins the White Nile in Khartoum, Sudan. The Nile has for long captured the imagination of countless travelers throughout the ages. Since biblical times the Nile has provided water and therefore life to the millions of people that live along its banks. It formed the economic foundation of the ancient civilizations of Egypt and Sudan which almost 3000 years BC built the most astounding Architectural masterpiece.
