The Belize Zoo

The zoo started as a rehabilitation center for both injured and confiscated animals which were unable to make it back on their own in the wild. These animals are sometimes problem animals that got better and now are in good care. Amazing pictures can be taken there but you gotta be quick as these animals wilL not be posing for you-except for the monkeys! There is a nice gift shop there with unique souvenirs and an amazing restaurant, it's a must try.
