Sumatra coffee.
We have two kinds of Sumatra coffee; they are Arabica and Robusta coffee. Sumatra coffee is in different places and different taste. There are about 300 kinds of favours of coffee in Indonesia and most of the best quality coffee will be exported to other countries.
To process Sumatra coffee: there are several kinds, semi wash, natural, honey and the last is wine coffee but for the most farmers, they like to process it by semi wash and mostly the new coffee community is beginning to process it with speciality coffee. The best location to plant coffee starts from 1.000 - 1.600 meters above sea level.
This tour goes to Bandarmanik village and you stay at the village, eat, joint the local for harvest coffee, process, sorting, roasting and local Barista. The total tour duration 2 days tour; this is good to know and you will get a new experience in North Sumatra.
