1. Lawachara Rain Forest: This major national park is located 8 kilometers east of Sreemangal. The park offers ample trekking opportunities through the forest. Over 460 different species of birds, mammals and reptiles live in this forest. Mentionable Lawachara rainforest animal species include deer, wild chicken, squirrel, python, endangered hoolok gibbons, capped langoor, slow loris, birds, snakes, banana spiders etc. The forest is really dense at some places like those of primeval ones. Rumors run that at shady and dark corners sometimes big cats like leopardsare also seen. However it is very popular destination for bird watching as over 260 bird species has been recorded here.

2. Bikka Beel (HALI HAOR): It's 26 km north-west of Srimongal town. Area the Beel is about 170 hectare. It is within Hali Haor which has a dry season water extent of over 3,000 hectres and a wet season water extent of about 13000 hectares. Large number of wintering ducks (Lesser and Fulvous Whistling-Ducks and Siberian migrants), Purple Swamphens and many other shorebirds. Easy to see the threatened Pallas’s Fish Eagle.Extensive bed of pink lotus and waterlilies.Habitat, Flora & Fauna Habitat, Flora & Fauna: Swamp forest, 98 spicies of fish and 170 specis of birds including Fenrruginous Duck, Pallas’s Fish Eagle, Greater Spotted eagle, Oriental Dater and large –billed reed Warbler.The first significant community managed wetland sanctuary in Bangladesh, it provides a safe refuge for fish that repopulated the much larger Hali Haor wetland that surrounds the beel. It is the most accessible wetland in Bangladesh where a large diversity of water birds can be seen.

3. Madhabpur Lake: The lake is about 24 km far from to Sreemangal. Situated at Madhabpur tea estate in kamalgong. The lake is about 3 kms long and dotted with serried range of hills. This lake is a sanctuary for many migratory birds.

4. Madhabkunda Waterfall: This is one of the highest waterfalls in Bangladesh which is about 200 ft (61 m) high. It is located a bit further away from Sreemangal, roughly about 75 km, however the journey to Madhabkunda is pleasing experience as the road goes through tea garden and hills.

5. Tribal Villages: Opportunities of experiencing and discovering tribal cultures and lifestyles are rare, and visitors are recommended to stop off at the Monipuri Tribal Village. The lifestyles and traditions of the Tripra and the Khashia can also be discovered here also be handicrafts markets.

6.Tea Estates: Visitors are allowed for Sreemangal the Tea Research Institute. Tourists can also walk around in the tea estates amongst the workers village in the tea plantation.
