Believers are making pilgrimages to Mecca and Jerusalem, flows of climbers and travelers are flocking to the Himalayas and Tibet, esoteric and spiritual searchers are going to the Dalai Lama and Sai Baba, tourists and hippies are surfing India ...
But the mountains of Tian Shan is still cleanly keeping their secrets, legends, energy, their aura of spirituality ... Only recently came the modern concept of ancient heritage and culture of the Silk Road on the one hand, the healing power and energy of Kyrgyzstan’s nature on the other hand, not simply in the cognitive and recreational purposes, but in order for the tourists to come into contact with a purifying spirituality of the Tian Shan, to be inspired and enriched by its resurrective power. In short, we are talking about the practical application of a new and unique concept of "TianShanization".
TianShanization – is a process of purification of the accumulated "urban civilization dirt" (de-urbanization), in conjunction with absorbing a pure energy and inspiration from the Heavenly Mountains, which includes heart-felt significance of ancient monuments, energetic holy places, health-improving effect of the Tian Shan, with its mountains, rivers, forests, lakes, caves, waterfalls, sunrises, starry sky.
We are proposing for the guests of Kyrgyzstan a new tour, in which 3 components are harmoniously intertwined:
- historical and cultural tourism with the elements of pilgrimage,
- fitness classes and purification by the energy of nature,
- contact with the unique spiritual inner world of local communities.
Here are some of the elements of the tour:
- the tourists will be given a warm reception with the soulful warmness and cordiality;
- the guide will be dressed in traditional and spiritual clothing, and he himself is an expert on TianShanization;
- accommodation of the guests will be made in a bright premises, "sanctified" by the archa (a local variety of purification by the natural aromatic tree) or oriental fragrances;
- the tourists will stay both in traditional yurts, and in comfortable hotels, as well as in comfortable family run guest houses;
- the guests will be accompanied by the finest traditional Kyrgyz and oriental spiritual music.
The program will be filled with
- meetings of sunrises and sunsets,
- morning and evening light Yoga classes, recreational gymnastics of Qi Gong, meditation and relaxation,
- excursus into the history and spirituality of the Tian Shan,
- communication with the local "treasure trove of knowledge" and "spiritualists",
- visits to the "power spots" and deep-felt power of nature,
- visits waterfalls, hot springs, snow-covered mountains,
- archaeological excavations,
- museums,
- spiritual and artistic communities.
The tourists will
- visit to ancient remains in the Chu valley along the Great Silk Road,
- do a pilgrimage travel around Issyk-Kul lake,
- visit to historical sites on the Northern shore of the lake
- staying at natural oases on the Southern shore of the lake,
- travel through the entire Central Tian Shan almost to the border with China,
- spend the night near the ancient Caravanserai for pilgrims and travelers in the Tash-Rabat,
- visit the heart of the Tian Shan – Naryn city,
- spend the night and ride the famous "heavenly" horses in alpine lake Son-Kul,
- relax and enjoy a hot spring at a sanatorium in the Issyk-Ata gorge,
- visit the sacred valley of the ancient nomadic Scythian-Saka tribe,
- meet with academics, social, spiritual leaders and
- get deep encounter with local people.
Upon completion of the tour guests will leave Kyrgyzstan
- rested physically and psychologically,
- refreshed and enthusiastic,
- spiritually enriched by the inner world of local people and the nature of the Heavenly Mountains,
- derived knowledge about the culture and spirituality of Kyrgyzstan,
- have mastered basic skills of the rehabilitation and preservation of strength and energy,
- past the main stages of TianShanization practice and
- obtained the "dedication" by the Heavenly Mountains, and a certificate of TianShanization.
PROGRAM OF THE TOUR
Day 1. Arrival to Bishkek city. Transfer to the "Asia Mountains" Hotel. Relax. Tour around central part of the capital: a square "Erkindyk" (“Independence”), Art Gallery under the open sky, "Ala-Too" square. Visit to the historical museum, visit to the ethnographic museum of private archaeological finds, which is based at the "Rarity" bookstore. Evening slide shows and familiarization with the program.
Day 2. Meeting the sunrise, Yoga classes in the "Asia Mountains" Hotel, if desired. Breakfast. Transfer to the Northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. Along the way visit to the Krasnaya Rechka and Akbeshim medieval settlements with the excavations of ancient Buddhist temples and Nestorian churches (V-VII centuries). Visit to the historic and architectural complex – Burana Tower (IX-XII centuries).
Accommodation at a hotel on the shores of the Issyk Kul Lake. Visit to the gallery of ancient rock carvings under the open sky, located near the Cholpon Ata town. Upon the request, evening boat trip, contemplation over the setting sun at the middle of the lake.
Day 3. Meeting sunrise and Yoga practice on the shore of the Issyk Kul Lake. Breakfast. Visiting the city museum and the Architectural and Spiritual complex “Ruh-Ordo” (“Spiritual Heritage Center”). Moving to a “Svetlyi Mys” (“Bright Cape”) near the Kurmenty village (the assumed burial place of St. Matthew). Visit to the monastic Christian catacombs (IV-V centuries). Visit to the Scythian burial mounds near the Belovodskoe village. Then move to the Karakol city. Visit to the Dungan mosque built in Chinese style. Visit to the Russian Orthodox Church. Lunch in the city. Mini-concert of the traditional folk music and the “Manas” epic poem. Then move to the Jets Oguz gorge. Accommodation in yurts. Relaxation. Yoga practice and meditation.
Day 4. Morning fitness and Yoga. Breakfast. A short climb to the view point, with a panorama of the gorge, adjacent snow-capped peaks and Issyk-Kul Lake. Then move to the Tamga village, visiting Tamga-Tash (Tibetan sacred rock inscriptions). Travel along the Southern coast of Issyk-Kul Lake to the "Planetary Eye" yurt camp. Relaxation. The lessons of gymnastics Taiji, if desired.
Day 5. Transfer to the Tash-Rabat caravanserai. Stop in the Kochkorka town for lunch, as well as for visits to private ethnographical museum, where also can see demonstrations of making the Kyrgyz “shirdaks” carpets. Arrival to Tash-Rabat. Accommodation in yurts.
Day 6. Morning fitness procedures. Qigong practice. The walk up to the view point, where the Tash-Rabat valley opens up. Breakfast. Visiting the caravanserai. Transfer to the ruins of the Koshoy Korgon ancient settlement. Transfer to Naryn. Visit to the regional museum, acquaintance with the legacy of Manas. Transfer to Son-Kul Lake. Accommodation in yurts.
Day 7. Morning fitness procedures. Climb to the view point, where as you can see the rock carvings and a wonderful panorama of the lake and the whole Son-Kul basin. Breakfast. Acquaintance with a life style of modern nomads. Visit to the sacred stone circles. Visit to the Scythian burial mounds. Transfer to Issyk Ata gorge. On the way stop over in the Boom gorge. Accommodation in the Issyk-Ata sanatorium, which is located on the radon mineral springs. Bathing in the pool with mineral hot water. Rest.
Day 8. Morning fitness procedures. Walk to the rock carving image of the Buddha. Breakfast. Walk up in the gorge to the waterfall. Health-improving practice at the waterfall. Moving to the valley near Gornaya Maevka village, a visit to the acting Buddhist community, meeting with monks (perhaps with the Teacher, with representatives of other local spiritual traditions), philosophical conversations with local spiritual figures in the Stones Garden. Lunch in the community. Climb up to the panoramic point. Conclusion of the TianShanization practice in the afternoon. Transfer to Bishkek.
Day 9. Departure back home.
