Slate carvings and Xunantunich Mayan ruins site are the two things that I got to know first in the tourism industry, as my home village is San Jose Succotz near Xunantunich ruins. When I was a little boy, my brothers and I learn to work on slate stone, drawing and carving, like Mayan calendar, Mayan gods, birds, animals and more. Xunantunich Mayan ruins came to be my favorite site because is where I spent time growing up. When I was 18 years, it was a great time to join the Archaeologist team to work in the site and after that, I have been all around Belize to learn about caves, rivers, nature, Mayan Ruins, birds, animal and much more.
